Newnan Sip and See Holiday Kick-Off
Join downtown Newnan in welcoming the holiday season with our annual Holiday Sip-and-See from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, November 9, 2017. During the Holiday Sip-and-See, downtown retail establishments extend their normal business hours to introduce their holiday gift items and offer special promotions or discounts. This event is a great opportunity to get an early start on holiday shopping!

Official Readers' Favorite Book Reviewer
I've been invited to join the team of Reviewers at Readers' Favorite, LLC. Going forward I will continue with my Indie/Small Press Reviews as Gallion Picks Review but you will now also reviews tagged Readers' Favorite Review. I don't anticipate reviews overlapping. If you are interested in being highlighted in a Gallion Picks review please continue to contact me in the usual way. I will promote all my Gallion Picks through my available avenues, email, social media, and video tie-in. My Readers' Favorite Reviews will be on my site as a record and will link to the official Readers' Favorite site. I want our authors to get as many reviews as possible and my doing a Gallion Picks as a Readers' Favorite Reveiwer would give the author only one review rather than two.

Intoxic - Bronze Medal Winner Readers Favorite, General Fiction
Intoxic received the Bronze Medal in the Fiction - General category at Readers Favorite. It competed against works from across the country and they have very high volume contestent based. Fiction-General is a very popular category with a wide entry field. I am thrilled and honored to be on this list. Thank you Readers Favorite!

Writers and Authors is a bookstore out of Phoenix, AZ that does an amazing job of highlighting authors and provides and ecclectic and varied collection of genres. I was quite impressed with their website content and their Q and A segments.

DCPL 2017 Author Expo
Come to the Dekalb County Public Library on August 19, 2017 from 10 - 2. There will be 40 local authors participating in this event. Georgia has some really talented writers producing really good books. Come out and meet us, ask us questions, support your local writers.
